The only way to describe: sometimes the screen stretches and its like its warping. the monitors a dell 17inch flat panel monitor.
Check into the setting buttons on the monitor. Look for something called degaussing. Try that and see if it helps.
I dont see the option of degaussing on the actual monitor or in the settings. The monitors a Dell E173FP 17Inch
Didn't realize it was a LCD monitor. It wouldn't have degaussing, that's only for CRT types. Are you drivers all up to date (both graphics and monitor)? Check the CLock/Phase setting. Also OSD timing and position settings. If those are available on yours.
My graphics and monitor drivers are all up to date, what should those settings be set to that you mentioned.
[bold]Check the CLock/Phase setting. Also OSD timing and position settings.[/bold] My monitor is set to Phase on the Clock/Phase setting and Recall on the OSD. Try the different settings and see if they make any difference. I also have an Auto Adjust. Resets things to "normal" settings. See if you have that.
I had a play about with the phase settings and pixel clock that has seemed to work thanks for your help.
