Hi Ih8mycomp. Ok, you got some infections.... Cleaning instructions: Download and install Ewido, UPDATE it, but do NOT run a scan yet. -> http://www.ewido.net/en/download We'll use it later. At first, disable Spybot S&D Teatimer (it may hinder the cleaning process) 1) Run Spybot-S&D 2) Go to the Mode menu, and make sure "Advanced Mode" is selected 3) On the left hand side, choose Tools -> Resident 4) Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts 5) Restart your computer. Fix the following entries with HijackThis (run HijackThis, press "Do a system scan only", close all other windows, checkmark entries and press Fix checked): O2 - BHO: AcroIEHlprObj Class - {06849E9F-C8D7-4D59-B87D-784B7D6BE0B3} - C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\ActiveX\AcroIEHelper.dll (file missing) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {53707962-6F74-2D53-2644-206D7942484F} - (no file) O2 - BHO: SSVHelper Class - {761497BB-D6F0-462C-B6EB-D4DAF1D92D43} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\bin\ssv.dll (file missing) O20 - Winlogon Notify: winmqx32 - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winmqx32.dll If you haven't blocked access to Internet Explorer settings, fix these two with HijackThis: O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions present O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present Make your hidden files visible -> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html Restart your computer to the safemode -> http://www.pchell.com/support/safemode.shtml Delete this file (if found): C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winmqx32.dll Scan and clean your computer with Ewido and save the log file. Restart your computer normally. Make your hidden files invisible again -> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html You can enable Teatimer again. Post a fresh HijackThis log and Ewido's log to here so we can see if your computer is now clean.
