Western digital 80gb ata drive problems please help.

    It is giving me a smart error. I have partitioned it with dos, but it will only partition a 16 gig partition. When I format it with dos, it has a bunch of bad clusters it trys to recover, and now the smart error message. Can anyone please help me on what Im supposed to do?

    Get a new one! : )

    The drive is failing and you have bad sectors!....
