i bought this about a week ago with the purpose of trying (?) to back my dvds up on to the hard drive then putting them on to blank dvds but no luck i spoke to the salesperson and they said i can do this but can someone please help ?
If they are prerecorded dvds, then it's unlikely. The only way to do that is with a computer. The salesperson probably thought you wanted to back up DVDs you made in this or another recorder that weren't copy protected. That you may or may not be able to do.
