Well I just can't believe it. I came here a couple of weeks ago because id got a pioneer 111D in an external usb enclosure and wanted to burn games. After all sorts of coasters i upgraded the drives firmware to 1.29 and burned at 4x rather than 2 and bingo, made 2 backup games great. Now all my backup games work fine but i cannot make any new ones. I cant understand why as nothing has changed on the drive at all. I tried to burn the UNL Godfather (prepatched) and nig-r6vegas, both came as before as a DVD file and an iso. Selected the dvd file in clone cd. Burned at 4x but now i get the old unplayable disc error in my xbox. Can someone please help me ! What could have possibly changed since my last 2 working backups? Thanks
I'm having the same problem with my Pioneer DVR-111D version 1.29. It only worked in the beginning and now it just makes coasters(non-playable - "open tray" ). Although I have the burner set to Region 1, I don't know if this could be an issue?
