This is The Procedure of burning dvd's i go throug 1)first i get my d/l file 2)i convert it into mpeg-2 using winavi 6.3 3)i put the file into tmpgenc dvd authour 1.6 4)i burn using tmpenc's dvd write feature Somehow my dvd's will only play on some ps2 and dvd players i make sure that there always in pal version and i use ritek 8x disk Any1 know what is happining TIA
Well it could be From a Number of Things Like Maybe the Encoder isn"t Encodeing to a 100% DVD Compliant Mpeg-2 file, Like the GOP length could be wrong or it could be Missing a sequence header... I would suggest that Maybe you use a Real Mpeg encoder Like even Tmpgenc or if you want something fast then maybe try "MainConcept Encoder" ..Both of these encoders will produce 100% DVD Compliant files and With better quality than WinAVI could ever produce... Also Maybe try Burning the Video_TS useing something else Like Maybe Nero in DVD Video Mode.....Also PS2"s are Known for Not playing all DVD"s...also try Burning at a Lower Burn Speed Like Maybe 4X when useing 8X Disks...
