Hello, I use Nero Burning ROM or Nero Vision Express 3 to burn DVD's. I have one movie that is supposed to be AVI format. It plays using Nero Showtime and Windows Media Player. No problem... But when I burn the DVD it won't play in my DVD player. The burn is successful. Never had a problem before. Tried to burn several disks... no luck. Suggestions what I might be doing wrong?

Here is the Nero guide for using Vision Express. Thats the one that converts AVIs. http://www.nero.com/nero6/enu/User_Guide_Vision_Express_3.html It sounds like the conversion didnt go correctly. If the files were not converted to DVD format, then the stand alone would not be able to read them. Windows media player has the AVI codecs on your computer same with showtime.
