I don't know what I'm doing and need some help. I have several movies on file that I got from "Limewire" and am able to watch them on my computers, . My question is...how can I get my files on to a DVD-R that plays on my home DVD player without it reading Disk error. I'm using "Sonic" and am burning at 6x speed.What do I do ? I keep hearing something abot using "Nero Burning Rom 5.5.9.17". And i apoligize if I am posting this in the wrong forum. Buyou can't be mad at me even my name says it all "Rookie". lol
Take a look at VSO's ConvertXtoDVD. It handles a lot of different formats and burns them to a DVD. You can get an idea of what it does here: http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/ Nero 5.5 is kinda hard to find although I have not really looked for it much. I'd stick with a newer version. My opinion only! I'd stay away from Sonic, I couldn't get it to work any better than you have. There may be some Sonic folks here that know it better than I do though. I deleted it years ago.
