I'm using 4x certified DVD+RW (4.7GB) to copy my downloaded movie files to. Everything seems to go fine but I'm missing the last few minutes of the movies. Do I need to use different discs? Can anyone help me out on this?
I'm using a full version of Nero 6...

How big is the downloaded files? If it's more than 4.3GB then you might need to transcoded it to fit into a single layer DVD-R, DVD+R or DVD+RW disc.

are you sure that the movie is all there? did you watch or preview the movie before you did your transcode? or your burn? sometime's that could be the problem, also what program did you use to convert the file to dvd? need a little more info

Hi, the file size is 700mb. I'm using Vision Express 6 for the transcoding. I'm bringing in the xvid file and vision express transcodes it before burning it to disc. It tells me the file is to large for the disc but it will change it and make it fit... does that make sense?? and I've previewed the movie and it's all there

Hi guys, I'm a virgin to the forum. I need help desperately with my Nero software. I'm having problems accessing the software due to a crashing problem where I get a message and error signature.... NEROSTARTSMART.EXE HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO CLOSE. WE ARE SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. This has really got me stumped. I'm guessing it's a registry problem, but I really can't put my finger on it. I've used to Nero cleaning tool, uninstalled the software and reinstalled but it still doesn't fix it. Can anyone help?

don't use nero for your encoding not verry good , what is better is vso convertxtodvd, if the file is to big to fit on a dvd just run the file through dvd shrink and shrink will fo it's thing and nero will burn to disk. good luck
