i was thinkin it would be cool if we could get a whole colllection here of all the best sites to go to to get dvd rips or other divx video downloads. anyone got any? all i know about is kazaa

Distribution of such things would be just plain unfair to the starving artists of Hollywood. Transferring ripped DVD is like taking food out of Mel Gibson's mouth!
We are not here to pass judgement on the cost of movies or actors salaries. God knows there are plenty of leeches out there, politicians, CEOs etc which deserve a pop. We don't condone piracy and uphold the right of individuals to make legal backups of their DVD media. A link with that kind of information would close down Afterdawn in a week, so don't even think about it. Paul
