On the best you'll get different answers, I like Verbatim 'cause I cant get Taiyo Yudens.

    Undoubtedly the WORST is Memorex.

agreed with gwendolin.verb + r's are the best blank dvd's you can buy in the store.ive had great burns with verbs.maxell's are decent too.ive never tried sony's,fuji's or tdk's so i dont know if there any good.memorex does suck, and always stay away from cheap store brand dvdr's like office max brand, staples brand, and the absoulte worse is nexxtech from circuit city.

I have had great success with Maxell, Verbatim and Sony. The worst have been Memorex, HP, and Phillips. Office Depot's house brand has been suprisingly good. Had success with the 8x and 16x discs. Had alot of problems with the 4x though.

Hello All-- Can anyone tell me what the difference between + or - and which one is the better? Thank You, P.S. I use TY's - dvd-r hub printables.

For me TY are top followed by Verbs, -R are more compatable with dvd players, +r can be booktype by a burner to make your dvd player think its a dvd-rom disc, really its all up to what format your dvd player plays

I have been using tdk+ and sony's that id as ty's no probs with either though I recently read tdk's are almost as unpopular as maxhells. I've been lucky so far. But, I think I'll stick to the sonys or true ty from now on.
