I've just flashed my xbox (=D) and before burning my first disc I thought I better know about waves. I was looking for games and came across someone saying that they game dose not work for them and then someone else replied that they had the wrong "wave" could someone explain what a wave is and what it is used for? The "wave" of the disk corresponds of the video partition on the disk. Every once in a while Microsoft updates the video partitions stored on the disk, and thus older firmwares won't be able to boot it. If you've got the latest firmware, this is of no real concern to you right now.
