I am planning to upgrade a HDD on a xbox.

For some reason the HD does not lock when using the various programs of Xbox HDM 1.9.

I need to know what BIOS to get so the HD does not need to be locked.

NE help would be greatly appreciated.

I am using a Maxtor 250g HD, the app tells me it is lockable. I am doing this for a friend, and using the same model HD I used for myself, there should be no problem, so I am starting to be very mad. :(

    :p

Is there a way I can flash a BIOS that does not need the HD to be locked?

    BTW, the Xbox is softmodded.
