I have a Nokia 3310 which is already unlocked.
When I visit the local market I see that they sell data leads to connect my phone to my pc.
If I was to buy a set of these leads then what exactly could I do with them?
Why would I want to connect my phone to my pc?
    Any ideas?

    Hi there.

One of the reasons for a data lead is to back up your phone/sim memory to your hard drive using nokias software. It works on my 8330 quite well and lets me type new numbers quicker via the pc to transfer to the handset. Very useful if your phone gets stolen or lost. Another thing you can do with the data lead and software is make your own logos and ringtones without paying someone else to do it for you. The software is available free on the nokia web site to download. The software also supports irda if your computer and phone have this function. Hope this helps.

    Thanks a lot LeChuck66

Maybe I'll get some of them leads then, as I'm fed up of my ringtones a logos.
