What programs should I try and what kind of way can I test it? I have Nero 7 Premium FULL Version I tried to make a backup of my Bat Thumb DVD to try to get the burner to work. I use CloneDVD2 & ANYDvd 6.0.4.5 and it reads fine but when it comes to writing my HP DVDWrite 640C with Updated Firmware and also I tried Resetting the CD/DVD Drives & DMA Enabled function by Uninstalling all the drives and stuff and still nothing is burning. Plz help

This is NOT a version of Nero that I can personally recommend. I would uninstall, run this clean tool, http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then install version 7.0.8.2 from here, http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?845 I do not support 7.0.2.3 or 7.2.0.3b either. Poor quality discs, try Verbatim or Sony (made in japan) My source indicates latest firmware to be JSO4 from here.ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/information_storage/software/JS04.exe Discs not recognized by burner.
