I'd almost say thats a good deal, especially with a monitor on that price, but I'm a snob that built his own machine for 5 ± 2 times that amount LOL.
Put your own ram in instead of paying for someone to do it.
That machine is not "state of the art" or able to play the newest games "at the highest rate" but a good deal still.
look into video capabilities B4 spending cash.

if its a dual channel config it has to be 2 matching 512's, but if its single a 1gb stick will do

You can put in 1gb of pc3200 ram.

Or you can put in 2 x 512mb ram.

Youl have to do some reasearch to see if its dual channel. But i would pressume not.

Best bet for you would to be buy a 1gb stick. Then if you need more you can always put some more in.

I'm not trying to be a jerk here but it is really easy to find the information you are looking for. The same page I linked previously, I clicked the product information link on the left side of the page. From there I clicked the link for motherboard specifications and this came up...
    Memory
    [bold]Dual-channel memory architecture
    4 DDR1 DIMM (184-pin) sockets
    PC3200/PC2700 DDR1 DIMMs
    Non-ECC memory only
    Maximum memory: 4 x 1 GB DDR1 DIMMs, 4.0 GB total [/bold]
This means you should see a performance increase if you use 2 of the same type memory. (2x512 or 2x1GB either way you like)
