What criteria are used for closing a thread??

    Hi All,

    I have just received an update email for a thread I posted to recently.

    I visit the thread to see the current status and note that the thread has been closed.

    Now I cannot see the reason for the thread being closed (not an OLD thread, no rules being broken etc...)

    This is the thread in question:

    It is not affecting anything, I am just a touch perplexed.

    I just looked at this one a bit ago and wondered the same thing.

    Perhaps the moderators thought that the initial answer had been answered to the total satisfaction of the originator??. Perhaps they should do this more often to avoid initial questions becoming fragmented ??

    I dont know, its just my guess.

    That is worth thinking about Brian. However, i think they should give it a bit of time before closing it. From what i can tell, it was closed very quickly. I guess thats why there is the 30 day no posting rule (maybe its 45) and then the thread automatically closes.
