what determines status

    I think the status (newbie, AD addict) should be determined by how often you log on and not by how many posts. The answers to most of our questions are already posted in previous threads and therefore there is barely ever a need to post for help. There are a lot of people that log on and don't post because they read existing threads for answers.

    I'm supprized that this issue of status causes so many questions.
    Does it really matter??
    At the end of the day if you have learnt something and was able to pass on some sort of help to others or just your thoughts on something, isn't that what this forum is all about??

    In my opinion, status is how well you help others and contribute to the forum, and not the title under your name.
