What do i do when the Complition is larger then 4.7 gig

    I ripped on of my DVD's then i wanted to burn it i did everything write but the file gets to be about 5.0 gig. what should i do to get it under 4.7

    Use recode or shrink or something on it.

    What application did you use to rip to your HDD.
    What applications do you have for reauthoring/transcoding the files.

    DVDshrink
    Nero Recode 2
    CloneDVD

    All will reauthoring of the movie files, and shrinking the files to fit onto a single layer DVD.

    I use DVD Decrypter then i tryed tp burn it with Nero.

    View the "Copy Entire DVD to DVD’ feature
    (also known as DVD9 to DVD5)" toutorial for a full movie backup.

    View the "Remake a DVD’ feature" if reauthoring the DVD to backup just the main movie with subpictures and audio channel of your choice.

    DVDshrink will also do this for you, just open the files created by DVDdecrypter using the open files tab and browse to the VIDEO_TS folder to import the files. After shrink has analyzed the files, click on the reauthor tab to remove extras if you want just the main movie and audio channel of choice.
