The Coolsat fix requires a ROM 102 card and a card reader installed in the Coolsat. It also requires some knowledge of card programing. Right now the only thing needed for a temporary fix is to install the newest key numbers that came out today. You can use a bin from about 2 months ago with the new keys. The problem is we don't know how long all the channels will be open for viewing. This is only a temporary solution until they encrypt the signal again.
