    I am going to try Clone DVD2, and Any DVD, , what works best with Clone DVD2 and Any DVD? Do I need Nero,or some kind of software?

    Don't want to spend alot on Nero is there a entry level version (Nero) that will work for just backing up DVD video's?

    I have no DVD creator software loaded on my computer at this time.

    Have never made a back up of a video, is Clone CVD2 and Any DVD easy to understand and use,with basic computer knowledge?

    Pentium(R)4 650 W/HT Technolgy,3.4 GHz, 1GB H/Drive, 16Max DVD+/R/RW Drive
    16Max DVD ROM

    Thanks
    Tom

    AnyDVD and CloneDVD is all you need!!! Just make sure your burner has a booktyping utility available or does it automatically as CloneDVD does not booktype...

    @TomF1

    There is a guide to using AnyDVD and CloneDVD in my signature, as well as the guide that comes with CloneDVD in the help section. You can also read it at slysoft.

    http://www.slysoft.com

    Cheers. You won't be disappointed with the ease of use.

    Booktyping is nice, but not necessary at all.

    Yep, people go on about booktyping & it must be nice if you can. Truth is I have never had compatibility issues, so I never have even had to think about it!

    Even though I don't prefer CloneDVD2, (I use Nero Recode2 along with AnyDVD,) for the price of the package of AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 and the quality they preform, you have a winning combination. Both together are less then Nero Ultra or Nero7. :)

    There is always Nero OEM Suite 3, which includes Recode2, and it can be found for less than $10 shipped!!!

    AnyDVD + Nero and Shrink = perfect all the time. I would definitely make sure to use booktyping. This way you aren't left wondering should you have a bad run. Also, I noticed, [for those who only do main movie with copyDVD2] copyDVD2 doesn't create chapters. Instead only burns as a single chapter. Unless I missed a feature, somebody please slap me and let me know. I need chapters, so that when my wife falls asleep [always] I can tell her where to restart. Other than that issue, I would have to agree slysoft provides exempliary software expertise.
