Honestly, burning a backup is very long, taking up around 15 - 20 minutes (at 2X or 4X). So I wanna ask you guys what do you usually do while waiting for your backup to finish?

    1. Watch previously burnt dvds on my dvd player.
    2. Wait for burn at 4x or 8x to finish (9 - 13 mins).
    3. Repeat.

    I have a boring life.

I do those weird little calculations "If train A, left the station at 12pm and was traveling at 60km..." I like trains! It's not childish... I just love trains, currently majoring in Locomotive engineering.

I don't move from my computer; I simply sit there and play with my pet monkey until the error message appears LOL!

My monkey is pre-mature so I would have to pet it 15 to 20 times if I had to wait that long for the burn to be done.

LMAO!! Hey, you think I'm bad? We have a membership card for people who want to use our computer resource areas and, without fail, at least once a month someone puts the card and loses it in the floppy slot! Happened again yesterday.

@Ireland....erases like a charm that way but I'll be damned if I can rewrite ... guess I'll have to return the defective computer for not working properly!

Just curious how you major in Locomotive Engineering?

    ...on topic,

I surf the internet, and much like creaky I have more than one PC so I can get on another one if something more intensive needs to be done. I also make most of my burns at 12X so it doens't take quite as long as what you've described.
