Which one of these receivers should I go with? My two inputs are a Direct TV HD DVR and a PS3 both via HDMI cables. My TV is a hitatchi ultravison LCD with 2 HDMI inputs. My speakers are the Klipsch Quintet III with a Klipsch 10" sub. These are the 3 recivers that I'm thinking about getting.

    Onkyo tx-sr604 for $399
    Yamaha rx-v1600 for $600
    Panasonic sa-xr700 for $620

Thanks alot this website provides alot of info and insight.

I would definately go with either the Onkyo or Yamaha, as both of those are excellent quality receivers over the Pioneer. And unless the Yamaha has a butt load more features than the Onkyo, I'd go with the latter. I have had several Onkyo receivers over the years and they sound great and perform excellent.

Stump, I'd get the Yamaha rxv 1600. It pumps out 840 watts and is an excellent receiver. I have the same speakers as you do, the klipsch quintet series with the 420 watt, 10 inch Sub. I have a yamaha HTR 5890 that also pushes 840 watts and man does it rock the house!!! You can't go wrong with Yamaha and those little Klipsch speakers put out some serious noise!!
