cam means camcorder shot, meaning the movies filmed with a video camera.some are done pretty good with a tripod with decent picture and sound.some are even done with a hidden camera with constant moving, audience participation, occasional head bobbin up and down.

a screener is a vhs or dvd copy of the movie made from the film studio themselves, and they send them to film critics or oscar voters to watch and review their film or consider their fil for awards.every once in a while you might see "property of ______"flash on the screen,or their might be a time clock on the screen counter, watermarks, some of them even will go black and white for a minuite at a time 4 or 5 times during the film.

Screeners are normally good quality but as dvdfreak says it does have some form of WARNING flashing onscreen occasionally. I would steer clear of any Cam d/l, its been my experience that they are very hit and miss..sound out of sync etc. Iwould suggest you look for anything that says DVDRip, these are actually taken from DVD and in the most case ARE really good quality.
