Excuse my ignorance. When transferring VHS to DVD, what does macrovision do? For that matter, what happens when TBC is out of synch? Thanks again, all.

Macrovision is an Analogue Copy protection that is Found on Most all Retail VHS Movies....

What it does is it Prevents you from Copying your VHS tapes and I don"t think a TBC will Help in Defeating this Form of Copy Protection...

What you Need is some Type of "Video Stabilizer" which removes the Macrovision from the In Comeing Signal....

You would need something like this:

    Cheers
