When you send off your 360 to be repaired, does microsoft change the motherboard, or just do a reflow? Does anyone know exactly what they do?
It all really depends on why the console was sent in. I've received all combinations back from them. Same mobo; old, reworked mobo; new mobo (Opus); new dvd drive, used dvd drive.
Ok thanks thats true depends on what it was sent in for. Was just curious to know if it was a total revamp which would supposedly highly reduces any e74 or rrod occurences. Seems like its just going to fail again someday.......
You get the newer version heatsinks in the old boxes and LO drives lol that's all I can tell you either have your box refurbished or they send you a refurb they have sitting around no new consoles I believe
Not true. Even if you send it in with a perfect drive and let's say it has a benq or hitachi. They will automatically replace it with a lite-on
