I've been seeing that for many DVDR files. Usually, people say whether an ISO is NTSC or PAL. But lately, many have been having PLD instead of either one of those.

What does it stand for? What does it mean?

[bold]PLD[/bold] (Programmable Logic Device) A digital IC (Integrated Circut) that can be programmed by the user to perform a wide variety of logical operations. FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Array) and CPLDs (Complex Programmable Logic Device) are classes of PLDs.

Where are you seeing PLD'S? In a DVD file?
