what does this message mean?

    when i go to "Nero Toolkit" anc lick on "Nero CD-DVD Speed" a box pops up and says" No CD-ROM drives found"

    Does it show up in My computer and Device Manager?

    Turn off your computer and unplug the power cord, and both ends of the IDE cable. Then plug everything back in right and let your system find it again.

    when i go to my computer and click on CD (D:) nothing comes up. When i got to device manager AOPEN DUW1608/ARR shows up and says it is working properly.

    What does this mean?
