I don't know an update software that will cover every component/software/firmware’s in your PC. You'll probably have to use your product's homepage for updates. Here are a few examples:

For Windows Vista; use Windows Update. If using XP use this link: v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com

If you have an HP PC or any HP devices; use HP Update Software or http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html

If have any AMD components (CPU, GPU), go here: http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

For Intel (CPU, Chipsets, etc): http://www.intel.com/support/detect.htm?iid=dc_iduu

    For Nvidia (GPU): http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

For DVD drives and other components then you probably need to search the web for the drivers. To find what type your drive is; go to control panel -> System -> Device manager - > DVD/CD ROM drives. That's as simple as it gets, the more different types of components in your PC, the longer it will take.
