my mate has a eurovox which needs new software but doesnt know which box he has dont know if this helps the software on it says model DVB-XC BOX V TDA S/W VER:1.0 STC4 -APRIL 10th H/W2.0TK5 BOOTSTRAP V001 S/W BUILD KURO hope this helps thank you

not sure mate havn't had to use it ,wasn't affected in my neck of the woods,just double check that pic with your mate ok.
