I'm buying one, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16868110062 Anyone knows if it will be 3.41 or lower or am I risk getting a 3.42?
3.42 was just recently released so it's probably not likely to be a 3.42 if you ordered one now. However, you are taking the chance that the 3.41 and lower were all sold out with the USB exploit and all new consoles in stock are updated.
You might be better off buying one from a store like Best Buy or Walmart. Since they have most likely been on the shelf at least for a few days. I bought one the same day the 3.42 was released. Im just waiting on the PSjailbreak to arrive now.
If I buy one at a store, then I'll be charged tax, which is like $15, and newegg has same price with no tax+free shipping, so go figure This dude told me that he bought from newegg, model number is CECH - 2501A, so I think that's definitely 3.40 or something.
