Do you Just want to Burn it as a Data file to store it?? Meaning you are Not makeing a VCD or SVCD or DVD out of it you are Just Burning it to Disk as an AVI file?? Well I don"t see why you Couldn"t burn it to Disk unless the Name of the Files contained Illegal characters in which case you could rename the file..You could also try putting it in a Folder and then burning the folder to Disk or compress the file in a Zip or Rar File....

No...I would like to burn it to disc to be able to watch it on my stand alone DVD player.....but I do not know which format it is in or how to change it.....I tried burning it as it is, but it won`t burn with any of my programs...says wrong format or unknown file...sorry if I didn`t make myself clear, its just, this is the first time I have downloaded a movie and am not sure how to go about recognising the file......thanks again.

Well Of cource you can"t watch it on your DVD Player, AVI is not what they Make VCD"s or SVCD"s out of...What you have to do is Make sure you have the "XviD Codec" installed as this is what the File is...Then you will need to Decompress the audio in the File because you will need to encode the File to VCD/Mpeg1 and Mpeg encoder do not like Compressed audio..If you PM Me with your E-mail I can send you a tool that will decompress the audio for you...After decompressing the Audio you will Have to download an encoder Like "Tmpgenc" to encode the File to Mpeg1/VCD and then you can Burn that Mpeg1/VCD File to probably 2 CD-R"s useing nero in VCD Mode.....

For a lot of these codecs, you get them automatically when you download the Divx player. Just go to http://www.divx.com/
