what format

    Hi guys

    very new to this site and burning, i would like to ask which file format i should get my movie files in to burn to dvd-r and what programs i would need

    And remember: if the AVIs you use quality is low, encoding the movie into VCD MPEG-1 and authoring in a DVD with DVD Lab is enough [and :
    1) you need less time to encode the AVI into MPEG;
    2) you can fit 4 movies per CD (the mpeg-1 movies occupy 10 MB x minute)]
