What formats does xbox read??

I was just wondering if xbox reads all formats like dvd-r +r dvd-rw +rw as im using a dvd+rw for gta vice city and xbox wont recognise it.

When i load the game it just says no disc anyone any idea what im doing wrong?

 

the dvd drive reads either + or - media try burning it onto a - also your xbox needs to be modded with hacked bios that allow you to run unsighned code.

 

depends on what dvd drive you have...samsung will read most media, where as the thompson won't read hardly any media.

 

Thanks for the reply guys i think that my drive might only read -r because all the backups i have are in that format.

 

My Thomson drive reads only -r, whereas my old philips drive didn't read anything worth a crap.
