Hey guys. I just got an HP dv5000z laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon Xpress 200. I was wondering if you could reccomend some good fps games that are capable of being played on my laptop. I read somewhere that halflife 2 will not work on my laptop. Is that true?
i doubt half life 2 will work, i have a Radeon X300 and my laptop was so sluggish i just gave up, although i could play it, it took the whole experience right out of it. Battlefield 2 might work with all low settings, mine could handle it, although it was choppy at times. Unreal Tournament 2004 may run fine if you tweak some settings, Halo will be fine, don't even try FEAR, with out descent settings it sux, you need to be able to see it to appreciate the work that went into it. ummmm....America's army, not the best game, but it will run, a good game that's not a fps and is definitly cheap and worth the time is Rise of Nations, excellent game.
