Hello all, we have the basic virgin subscription including phone and broadband and also have the starview 2 box for the tv channels - we never have the virgin box plugged in and lately we have received a couple of notices from virgin saying that they want their set top box back - what happens if they take it away? - will they cancel the signal so the starview box no longer works or does it matter? Will it affect the broadband?? thanks for any replies
No not as long as you continue to pay for their broadband service you will be fine. BTW if you are paying for VM why do they want their box back?
no idea why they want it back - just had a couple of notices through the door saying they've been around to collect the equipment but they've missed us - were paying the bills as usual - i thought it might have something to do with them testing the signal and realise were not using the box perhaps??
Strange alright you should have kept your VM box online maybe in another room to accept updates but as I said if you are paying for a VM TV package they dont need to take your STB back.
