    I was wondering which I should buy to remove all dvd restrictions. Anydvd or DvdFab?

    Im using Anydvd right now with Clonedvd but the Anydvd will soon expire.

    I've been hearing about this new program DvdFab and was wondering is this better then Anydvd and which should I buy?

    dvd fab is free if I'm not mistaken?? That's the only advantage it has over anydvd.

    anydvd runs in the background ripping off encryption as you go along. So it's no extra step. You can also tell it to jump straight to the main movie or main menu right away. It's probably the quickest updated program when it comes to new encryptions. And since it runs in the background you can use a program like DVD Shrink and in the end you only have the 4.3GB movie on your hard drive. DVD Fab will eat another 8GB or so for the decrypted movie.

    i have both dvd fab and anydvd. both are good. i use them both with 1clickdvd. with the "movie man of the house" dvd fab came through. an error kept showing up (dont remember what exactly)with anydvd. at the same time neither dvd43free nor dvd decrypter could get past this movie. with dvd fab you can always delete it off your hard drive. as squizzle said anydvd you can use on the fly. sometimes the more the merrier.

    I kept getting system error with anydvd and old xcopyplatinum backing up "man of the house". Anybody else had that problem.

    are you using anydvd 5.4.1.1? That's the latest. Should be able to handle it. Some of the previous versions had issues with certain region codes of that movie.

    I've said it before, AnyDvd is unstoppable. Bought it way before my 21 day trial version ended and haven't looked back!

    @labrat1

    I have never been able to get AnyDVD to work with Xcopy, unless you have the ripper free version. You would be better to try AnyDVD with DVD Shrink for your backups, and use DVD Decrypter or Nero to burn.
