So I just Ipod Video 30g for my gf. I put a lot of TV Series on the ipod for her to watch when she's driving to and back from work and also on her breaks. But the battery dies on her before she gets back home. Now what do i need to buy for the ipod to connect it to the power outlet so it will charge while she's wortking ? There's some docking ports, some chargers but there's few and I don't know which one's right

You just need a power adapter like the one shown here.
    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5345557.htm

I use Argos as an example, but you caould just as easily pick one up at your local[bold] Walmart [/bold]or [bold]Apple[/bold] store. I recommend you stick with Apple AC adapters only.

    a) You know it will be compatible with the iPod, and
    b) If by any chance, your iPod develops a fault as a result of using a it, then at least if it's an Apple one, you won't risk nullifying your warranty :)

Yes, that's exectly the sort of thing you should be looking towards purchasing. I'll have a look around for you and see if I can find one for you at a better price :)

If you purchase from eBay, though, be sure the charging adapter is manufactured by an established brand..

The last thing you want is an unsafe charger potentially damaging your iPod.

And what about a car charger? where can i get one of those? do they even exist? Im driving from Wisconsin to Texas next week and im taking my ipod video with me, I know i could probably just buy one of those DC/AC converter but that would be like too many adapters (USB>AC>DC) dont you think?
