i downloaded a game and it told me to copy it to the ppc and install it from there but i have no idea what a ppc is. im not on a laptop or nething so it just confuses me....so yea
I'd guess you've got a Pocket PC game there for a PDA. Could be wrong though...wouldn't be the first time Cheers
PPC is the chip in Apple computers for one, Power PC. It's not an Intel chip so software written for it will not run on a x86 box.
Software written for the PPC (Power PC) chip will [bold]NOT[/bold] run on Windows XP. They did make a PPC version of Windows NT 3.51 and NT 4 I believe but it will have to be run on PPC hardware not an Intel/AMD x86 box.
You are all wrong - me having the name Philip know that PPC means Philip's Pet Cat There is only one problem I have a dog called Ziggy. Of course Microsoft did come out with this Operating System for PDAs called Pocket PC 2000 & 2002 etc referred to as PPC but I prefer my definition!"
