I noticed that in nero you can make DVD audio disc's?

What are the advantages of these to normal cd's? can you have more tracks? and will they play in dvd players???

but most of all, why is nero not allowing me to select this option? does my DVD-RW need to be connected to my soundcard????

    Thankz

DVD audio is a new and as of yet relatively unused audio cd format that takes advantage of a DVD's storage capacity to provide higher fidelity music and special features such as liner notes.
General set-top DVD players will accept DVD Audio discs only if the disc has been specially made to be compatible (ie, include the Dolby digital format required by NTSC DVD players). True DVD-Audio discs, however, use the PCM format, and are only readable by specially compatible standalones.
Here is a basic FAQ introducing the format:

YEah, the DVD players will accept them but most normal hifi's wont because they are on DVD. There is no real difference to the quality over that of nrmal CD, just extra storage.
