sorry to ask a stupid question, 99% of the people here probably already know, but i dont. all i know is that it is a ps1 like cover for your ps2 so theres no slide open for the disk, you just flip up the cover....but people have sounded like they use a fliptop and it works without a modchip? that cant be true right.
that's the purose of a flip top... to get backups to boot without a modchip but, you need something like the swap magic discs to boot up the backups then swap for the backups.
