What is a good dvd r burner to go out and buy

    Very difficult to answer - different people have differing preferences based on their own or others experiences.

    Plextor, Pioneer and Lite-On appear to have good reputations for reliability.

    Would suggest avoiding cheap/no name brands.

    I have a Pioneer and have no problems with it for over 12 months and many hundreds of burns.

    Others may provide different suggestions.

    i have had good luck with sony dvd burners even though their customer service sucks . its all in what you prefer as stated above .

    i am going to make a copied of Ocean 12 i got it but i feel like copying it and giving it to a friend. i still get movies for $5.00 whice isnt bad for a back up movie of any choice

    External dvd burners i like better. i always go places and it might come in hande
