geforce 6100 is an integrated graphics chipset (graphics built-in to the motherboard) Nforce4 is a motherboard chipset that does not necessarily have integrated video, but uses PCI Express, so you need to add a PCI-E videocard. If you are a big gamer, you don't want to use integrated graphics, you want to use a separate videocard.

    NForce is the best however.

Right, Nforce4 is the better solution, but both are Nvidia (aka Nforce) chipsets.

wait is the Nforce just the chipset or a video card?

ps. on my comp bios it says integreated nforce grahpics
    and the 6100 is integreated

if i get the nforce will i need to buy a card for it?

it all depends on what resolutions you want and your ram and cpu also... but for this game mostly gpu and ram

i had same thing-integrated 6100 on my machine so i put in evga 7800gt co and 1 more gb of ram and fell flat on my butt when i maxed the settings out... graphics are amazing, there are some environments in the game where i really cant tell difference if its the game or the real world... and no problems with fps whatsoever with settings maxed out ( btw not only bf2, also cod2, far cry and every new gen game - dont know about fear because i dont have it at this moment, i heard this one is taxing even high-end systems big time )

so to sum it all up for you...

if you are a big bf2 gamer get at least 7800gt and 2 gb of ram ( if you can afford it of course )

i was sceptical at first too but when i saw the difference in graphics between integrated 6100 and 7800gt it almost made me cry :p

( but first make sure that your mobo is pci express compliant )

    good luck

I've had both, and I had a better experience with NForce.
