Nero's disc copier will do the job.

As long as it's not encrypted. Nero won't copy an encrypted disc.

    flabob,

To answer this question. Depends on what you wanna do. For backing up movies there are alot of ways, so in the end it comes down to preference. Using Shrink and Nero Express is a good start. If you've got Nero 6, and its the full version. You could get DVD43 and use it with Nero's Recode 2. You could also just use Shrink and burn automatically with Nero. You could also get DVD Decrypter, use Shrink to rip, compress and Decrypter to burn. Lots of possibilities. My advice try em all, you'll find your favorite. good luck

Well if its an already burned movie it will be under 4.3gb?

So just decrypt with dvd decryter and then use nero to add the files into the video ts folder, im a newb and use this way its really easy. :)

    flabob,

Well you really shouldn't copy a copy. Some consider it piracy. As far as burning with nero, I just use all the files in the video_ts folder... never really checked if they're vob. or whatever. And I wouldn't worry about sequence.. just worry if you've got all the files :)

    flabob,

I haven't figured out how to use classic burning rom .. even with the guides (always get a wrong format error). So I use Nero Express, and choose I think Video. It will open up a window with a Video_TS folder, open that... Then open your movie file and select all the files in that video_ts folder, and open them. Then burn. Hope that made sense.

it starts to burn properly..then when the movie, is 100% burned....then nero tells me that the burn process has failed....twice i tried to burn, and both times..it waited till 100 % done, then tells me burn process failed...

    flabob,

Does it give you a error message? Can you post the error log?

    flabob,

It's hard to say.. could be your media, could be aspi...

But I think this is your solution. You have a video_ts file.

So... 1) Open Shrink, click edit, then preferences.
    2) Under the File I/O tab, check the box to Enable burning with Nero.
    3) Then Open file, search for you video_ts file and open
    4) Click "backup!", change target destination to your burner
    4) Click ok.

So here are some way to back up with Decrypter, Shrink and Nero.

    DVD Shrink + Nero
    DVD Shrink + DVD Decrypter
    DVD43 + Nero Recode 2

    Here's how:
    1) Open Shrink, Open disc
    2) Click "backup!"
    3) Change target destination to "ISO Image File", then check the box to Launch DVD Decrypter
    4) Click ok
