What is discarded data on BitTorrent

    I keep seeing discarded data on my Bit Torrent download. What is this? Also some audio file I previewed is a little choppy. Does it go away after the download completes?

    It's nothing to worry about so i won't bother explaining it...And yes the chopiness should go away upon completion...It's because it hasn't finished downloading all the peices.
