what is going on ?????

    heres the thing i converted wihth nero vision to h/d.....every thing went great tried to burn with nero got 91% of the way and failed...then ran the video_ts file through voblanker triedto reburn only got 7% and failed...i am using imation....i know, i know it sucks but hadn't had any problems so far...but i looked at the logg and i think it is definately more then my media

    I HAD THIS PROBLEM B4 I KNOW WHEN I WAS USING NEROVISION2 I HAD PROBLEM I HAD TO GO TO NERO VISION 3 BECUASE THE SP2 PACKAGE 4 XP THIS IS WHAT I WAS TOLD BUT IT SEEMED TO FIX MY PROBLEM BUT NERO STILL FRICKEN SLOW ENCODING

    Looks like you havent updated your Nero yet.

    YUK, these are horrible discs and more than likely your problem, place them gently in the RUBBISH bin

    backing up the media theory

    burning a little slow, bump it up to 4X

    Your firmware is current.

    Try different media such as Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim.

    thats what i thought and kick up the speed will help wow i always thought the slower the better...yeah i was plannin on goin to bst buy and buyin verbatim in the mornin...but do you think using a maxell dvd+rw might work for now??

    There is no harm in trying, the worst that can happen is another coaster.
    EDIT, no coaster, you're trying an RW.

    well i have had rw that have become coasters because they for some reason cant be read after a failed burn...so lets hope for the best

    well i retried and nero froze up i couldnt even use the dvd drive any more i have no clue what is going on i upgraded so am gonna retry now *crossing fingers*

    now here is something crazy i kicked the sped up to 4x used the imation and bam it worked....that is awsome who hoo no more problems
