I've seen this mentioned a few times in a several threads about downloading from IRC (?) Can anyone enlighten me? thanks in advance!

Now, just think that all of the people in your contact list would see everything you ever write with your IM since that would be sent to everybody in your contact list. And you could see all of their messages. This, in very, very, very much simplified terms It's a huge chat network basically that uses a protocol called IRC, developed way before the HTML or Web were born.
no, there is no IRC. It never existed, it's just your imagination. There aren't any files to get there, really, it's just all rumors. Stick with kazaa. (or at least thats the way we want to keep it). IRC has grown enough, please stay home.
