What is my FW release?

I'm kinda new to the 360 scene. I've been quite active with the original xbox modding but after getting a great deal on a used 360 I figured I'd give this a try.

This may be kind of a noob question but I've searched through hundreds of threads and pages and can't seem to find an answer.

It looks like the 360 I bought was already opened and before I try to flash the firmware myself I was wondering is there a way to tell if it has been done already?

I tried to open it up using a key made from a CD spindle but that was too flimsy so I ordered a key online but in the mean time I'd like to see if I even need to bother trying to mod this if someone may have done it for me. It is the Hitachi GDR-3120L. I'm also waiting for my Kreon drive to arrive too so I don't have any backups I can try either.

Sorry for the long winded story but any help would be appreciated.

well without having a burnt game, you wont be able to tell if its been flashed or not.

i would still advise u to flash the firmware yourself

to the newest ixtreme.

so your have les of a chance of getin banned

cause it could be modded with an old firmware

and usein kreon u might get the disc kitter error of 360

so i would say still mod it yourself

 

u know u could open it up with a small flathead Screwdriver!
