What is the best App to make Divx files ?

I have some Avi files that dont play on my standalone player , I use Drdivx to make them into divx files and playable on my player .

Is there a App that would give me better quality than Drdivx ?

Also i have some dvds that i want to make into xvid/divx . What app would give me the best quality ?

I think this is the best overall. But, there are many opinions, mine is just one of them.

 

what is the name off the app ? When i went where you directed , the link given to get the app didnt work .

i downloaded this FairUse program but is it sort of a DVD ripper? i dont know i need to insert a dvd, but i allready ripped the DVD n so the movie is on my computer now n i wanna convert it to divx or xvid but i guess that doesnt work then? or did i just not do it right?

Download "avi.NET" ; There are many programs on the site, and I believe you are using the wrong one.
