themana check out the thread "media that works for you", you find tons of info..

    Best are media like:
    VERBATIM
    FUJIFILM

    OK:
    Maxell
    DVDPro

    Garbage:
    princo's & ritek

Also for DVD+R I just go to BEST-BUY where you can buy them for $2 each, WHERE ONLINE THEY RUN $2.79 & UP...
I would only buy DVD-R online...

Boriqua - u like to be different i think. Firstly Ritek are not rubbish, they are one of the best disks available in that price range. Nest you will be telling us that Verbatim are Ritek G03's or something. Oh...im sorry, you already have - lol
Apart from that i agree with your Verbatim and Maxell. DVD Pro, im not fond of it. Fujifilm??? Wouldnt buy them at that price

Oriphus what DVD Player you use. I think this makes a big difference. My friends have a Sony & Panasonic they hardly ever have problems with movies on any media. X-box plays anything perfectly I have seen.
I tend to use a PS2 to view my movies. It has a crappy laser, but I'll know if I got a perfect movie or not. Plus, if it plays perfect on the PS2, then it will play perfect on all the others...

I dont tend to use the PS2 to watch the movies. They are watched on a Samsung in my bedroom, Panasonic in the libing room and a Marantz 6000 in the Lounge. All like the Ritek's.

Sony DVD+R are good, but too pricy. Might as well settle for Verbatim DVD+R @ $2 a pop @ Bestbuy...
